By now you probably know that Flash animations are going into the web archives. They don’t show up on iPhones or iPads, which becomes more of a problem every day. And most of what they can do can be done in html5 these days.
But html5 is limited, and not recognized by earlier versions of browsers, particularly Internet Explorer. In time it will be fine, but right now it’s a less than perfect solution.
So what happens when your client just LIKES his Flash?

Annie Sokoloff is a familiar face to readers of In Style, Martha Stewart Weddings, Glamour and other leading magazines that have featured her wedding and bridal dresses.
When she came to Silverado Trail Media, she wanted to create a “build your bridal party” feature on her site, so that readers could see any dress style in any color, save them to a page, and be able to view different dresses for each of her bridesmaids at once.
The site required rendering (true to color) and indexing more than 15,000 images. It was featured in media stories on the bridal industry on its release.
